Fuel Injection Pumps
Reliable Fuel Injection Systems for Marine Engines.
Precision Fuel Delivery Systems
We supply a comprehensive range of genuine and OEM equivalent fuel injection pumps, plunger and barrel assemblies, delivery valves, and nozzles. Our parts are salvaged from active vessels and fully reconditioned to meet stringent OEM specifications.
Fuel Injection Pump Testing & Calibration
Reconditioning marine fuel injection equipment requires sub-micron precision:
- Plunger & Barrel Clearance: We measure diametrical clearance. If clearance exceeds 10-15 microns (depending on maker), the element is rejected to prevent fuel slip.
- Delivery Valve Testing: The delivery valve seat is lapped, and the assembly is tested for holding pressure to prevent secondary injection (dribbling) at the nozzle.
- Dynamic Bench Testing: Reassembled pumps are mounted on our computerized test bench. We verify the fuel delivery volume (cc/stroke) across the entire rack index range to ensure identical load sharing across engine cylinders.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are fuel injection pumps reconditioned?
+
Pumps are completely dismantled, cleaned, and the plunger and barrel assemblies are checked for wear limits. They are then reassembled, calibrated on a test bench, and tested for correct injection pressure and timing.
Do you supply fuel pumps for auxiliary engines like Yanmar and Daihatsu?
+
Yes, we maintain a large stock of fuel injection pumps for all major auxiliary engines including Yanmar, Daihatsu, and MAN B&W Holeby series.
